The Madison Park Galen Basket Weave Light Filtering Roman Shade offers a simple and convenient update to your home decor. This ivory roman shade features a basket weave texture base fabric that creates a natural look and feel. A thermal foam backing on the reverse provides energy efficiency and enhanced privacy. The cordless retraction mechanism makes it easy to open and close the window shade throughout the day, while the detachable fabric face allows for easier assembly and cleaning by lightly shaking or dusting.

Though detachable from the hook and loop fastener, the top face fabric is NOT fully removable. Ready to install right out of the packaging, this roman shade can be hung inside or above the window pane allowing you to find the perfect fit for your home decor. Each shade is also OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it does not contain any harmful substances or chemicals to ensure quality comfort and wellness.

The shade measures 64-inches in length and comes in 8 width options to suit multiple standard window sizes; each roman shade is sold as a single and comes with a printed instructional guide as well as an instructional video available on site. Assembly is required. The product is 100% Polyester and true to size, referring to the sizing guide image for the perfect fit. The size is 27"W x 64"L. Inside mount requires the shade to be 0.5" shorter in width, while outside mount requires the shade to be 3" wider than the window size.

The reverse thermal foam backing impedes 40%-70% light, provides energy efficiency and a room darkening effect, for enhanced privacy. However, direct sunlight at certain angles may reduce the light-blocking effectiveness. The lightweight design facilitates easy installation.

The cordless retraction mechanism makes it easy to open and close with a weighted hem to keep it in place. The product is Oeko-Tex Certified for high-quality manufacturing standards. You can complete your window decor with matching window curtains (sold separately).

For care, the top face fabric is velcro-detachable but not fully removable. Detach the top layer to shake off dust and straighten as needed. For wrinkles, gently steam on a LOW setting. Detach the fabric before steaming to avoid touching the liner.
